Jennifer Aniston and the Elle's Women in Hollywood Honor

Sparkling in her short, low-cut silver dress, Jennifer Aniston attended the Elle's 18th Annual Women in Hollywood Tribute held by the fashion magazine at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, on Monday October 17.

The actress received an honor at the gala for having redifined women's roles in movies and literally stole the show in her breathtaking Kaufman Franco dress and the Balenciaga shoes.

Michelle Pfeiffer, Viola Davis, Naomi Watts, Rachel Wood, Freida Pinto, Elizabeth Olsen and Barbara Streisand -who received the L'Oreal Paris Legend Award - are a few of the stars who are also being feted during the ceremony.

A couple of days ago, Jen also attended the American Cinemateque Awards in Beverly Hills which were honouring Robert Downey Jr. for his contribution to cinema.

Women in Hollywood 2011 and the Elle Honor

Jennifer Aniston is in the 2011 coverage of Women in Hollywood presented by Elle Magazine.
Jen looked really sexy posing with a top and satin shorts while she prefered not to talk much about her personal life and the several baby rumors.

''But it's not what you read.There's no desperation.If it's meant to be,it's meant to be.I'm at peace with whatever the plan is.But will you hate me if i say i don't want to talk about my relationship?'' Jen said.

She was also asked when was that she stood up to a male director and here's what she replied:
'' I threw a chair at a director.It wasn't my proudest moment.He was treating a script supervisor horribly...When the director walked in, i threw a chair at him.I missed of course.I was like, 'You can't speak to people like that.'I can't tolerate it.''

The Horrible bosses actress is among the stars who will receive the Elle Honour at the 18th Elle Women in Hollywood Gala. The annual event is held by the fashion magazine to pay tribute to those who have redefined women's roles in movies.
The ceremony will take place at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills on October 17.

Jennifer Aniston is the director of 'Mia', one of Lifetime's short movies about breast cancer that air on October 10.

Jennifer Aniston screens five in Washington DC and visits Breast Cancer Center in Virginia


Jennifer Aniston continues her promotional five tour, so last night she attended the second screening of the movie that was held at the Ronald Reagan Building & International Trade Center in Washington D.C.

The actress walked on the blue carpet along with Patricia Clarkson, producer Kristin Hahn, Second Lady of the United States Jill Biden and Liftime's President Nancy Dubuc.

Earlier on that day, Jennifer visited the Breast Care Center at the Inova Alexandria Hospital in Virginia lending her support to Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The actress was joined by the wife of the Vice President Jill Biden, the secretary of Health & Human Services Kathleen Sebelius and the producer Kristin Hahn.



Jennifer toured the Center, met with doctors and got informed about methods of treatment as well as the difficulties that patients without a health insurance have to face.During her visit to the clinic she had the chance to talk to several women who suffer from the disease and joined a group of cancer survivors where she got emotional by listening to their stories about dealing with breast cancer.






Project five is an anthology of five short films about the impact of breast cancer on people's lives.The films are directed by Jennifer Aniston, Demi Moore, Alicia Keys, Patty Jenkins , Penelope Spheeris and air on Lifetime Tv on October 10.
