Jennifer Aniston's charity action

Apart from being a very busy and succesful actress, Jennifer Aniston devotes much of her time to charity organisations and emergency financial asistance projects.

She has been seen on Pubic Service Announcements (PSA) for the St Jude's Children Research Hospital which she has been supporting since 2008. In 2009, in further support of St Jude's, Ms Aniston and her father, actor John Aniston, had recorded an audio chilldren's book ''Loukoumis's good deeds'',  the proceeds of which went to St Jude's Children Research Hospital.



The actress has also helped raise funds for Friends of El Faro, a non profit organisation that helps raise money for an orphanage in Tijuana, Mexico.

In 2011, Jennifer Aniston spent $450,000 on a painting at the 'Artists of Haiti' auction in New York, an event that was co-organised by Ms Aniston's close friend Ben Stiller and raised in total $13,662,000 to benefit health and education initiatives in Haiti.

In 2011, Ms Aniston was among the stars who designed a limited edition of Holiday Cards for Tiny Prints. Proceeds from the sales were given to benefit the Epidermolysis Bullosa Medical Research Foundation which helps adults and children struggling with skin disorders .It was on that year, that in an effort to bring Breast Cancer Awareness,  the Hollywood star designed a T-shirt for Warriors in Pink and 100% of the proceeds went towards finding a cure for Breast Cancer.


In 2010, Ms Aniston donated $500,000 to the Haiti relief appeal. The star gave the generous amount to Doctors without borders, Partners in Health and AmeriCares to help aid victims of the two devestating earthquakes in Caribbean Nation earlier that year.

To help free Burma, the 43 year old actress directed and starred in a video 'It can't wait'  while she teamed up with her close friend Courteney Cox, to campaign for the rights of women in Congo. Specifically the two FRIENDS stars, supported OmniPeace to help stopping violence by asking technology buffs to avoid buying electronics that contained materials from 'conflict mines'.

In 2007 Jennifer Aniston received the GLAAD'S Vanguard Award forher contributions to the gay, lesbian and transgender community.

JENNIFER ANISTON IN DEAL WITH HAIR CARE COMPANY


During her recent trip to Boston, Jennifer Aniston has signed on as an investor and spokesperson for the small hair care company Living Proof.

The 43 year old actress is considered to be the company's best choice since her several hair styles have been making headlines for over a decade while back in the 90's she launched the famous 'Rachel haircut'  that is one of the most requested hairstyles of all time.


In an interview at the hair company's headquarters, the actress talked about the many offers that she has to become a sponsor: '' I have been approached many, many times. You want to be part of something that is exciting and authentic.''

Chief Executive Officer of the company Jill Beraud said on the company's spokesperson choice: '' We believe that beauty and brains is the best formula. She represents everything we represent as a brand.She not only has the most fabulous hair but it;s an amazing creative talent, and has shown she is a savvy businesswoman with a serious interest in developing small, innovative companies.''

That's not the first time the actress gets into the beauty creator world. In 2010 she had launched her first self-titled fragrance with the Falic Fashion Group while in the 90's, she also appeared in advertising for L'Oreal Hair Spray.

Jennifer Aniston recently finished shooting her new movie ''We're the Millers'', starring Jason Sudeikis and Emma Roberts, that is expected to hit movie theaters in 2013.
